Paint, elastomerics, epoxies, fiberglass coatings, enamels, and urethanes are easily removed with UHP (ultra high pressure) waterjets. We have removed the above mentioned coatings from
- apartment buildings
- houses
- condos
- pools
- antique automobiles
- hotels
- roads
- runways
- interior industrial floors and walls
- heavy equipment
- large marine vessels
- tanks
- numerous metal structures
- and others too numerous to mention.
We have yet to encounter a coating that can withstand the impact of 40,000 psi waterjets. The beauty of UHP waterjetting is the versatility of the nozzle configuration. This versatile nozzle allows a skilled technician to adjust flow and pressure to produce the desired removal while leaving the sometimes delicate substrate intact. Ask us about ideas we may have to help solve your particular need.
Concrete restoration is a multi-billion dollar industry in Florida. In most cases, concrete that is exposed to the weather - such as the top floor of parking garages, balconies on condos, or pool decks - have some kind of waterproofing system. Once that system starts to fail, it must be removed and replaced with new materials. Waterblasting is the fastest, most economical and cleanest method in many cases to remove these coatings. Not only are the coatings removed, but the high-pressure water will also seek out and expose bad concrete, clean out cracks, and provide an excellent profile to which the new coating can adhere. After the waterproofing material has been removed, the expansion joints or control joints, in many cases, must be redone. Removing this joint material can be a difficult task because of its rubbery nature. Ultra high-pressure waterblasting is the answer. |
