1st Place Award - ATSSA's Most Innovative Product 2005 - Mar '05

We had the distinct privilege of meeting hundreds of contractors at the annual American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) annual trade show in Phoenix this past week.  We were honored on the last day of the show to be awarded the distinguished 1st Place 2005  “Innovation” award by ATSSA.   The criteria used in the selection process is three fold: Address a known safety problem, Be cost effective for the lives it may save, and must have the potential for saving lives.

As you may know by now, our latest design not only has increased the water and vacuum capacity by more than 600 gallons but we have also completely eliminated any trailer from our operation.  Trying to back up trailers in traffic as well as brake, lights and other issues can be a serious hazard.  More capacity means your workers have to go to the water source less often and get more work done per shift.  Our tractor mounted system removes long lines far faster than truck mounted systems and does skip lines in half the time.  It also allows for the rapid removal of stop bars, turn arrows, messages, crosswalks and can even work up to 400 feet from the truck if need be, by simply adding hose.

Also new this year is our truck mounted Hog Arms.  If a contractor is already locked into a truck mounted system, we’ve got just the thing for you.  These arms swing a wide path and are controllable with a joystick right from the Cab.  Control your pressure, rotation, and forward speed from there too.  For contractors who are tired of using a 1,200 lb gorilla off the front bumper of an existing truck, a quick conversion package can be installed at our Stuart, FL location giving you much more maneuverability and swivel shafts that will hold up with a properly sized and balanced blasting head.

We look forward to working with many of you to put the power of the “Hog” and the efficiency of innovation to work in your operation.
